Rice N Peas Films是1999年創立的英國獨立製片機構，幾年來，闖出名號，以製作饒富爭議之社會議題知名。

 

本片紀錄與探索卡斯楚（卡斯特羅）去（2006）年7月底暫時退至幕後以來，古巴人的生活與感受為主。製片單位至哈瓦那製作時，遭到不少官僚與採訪現制，但是....
